Bara Barn Ringslings and Bara Barn Knotshawls

The Bara Barn was a great success for us last year. This little shawls fold up very compact so they fit literally in everybody diaperbag or even purse. Some of our customers reported that they have been using the Bara Barn as shawl on themselves. The Bara Barn comes in neutral colors, black ( NY Parents favorite color) to refreshing colorful stripes. We import them from their native Sweden and bring them over for all the US parents.
The cotton fabric breathes well so its ideal for the summer time but of course can be used in the winter as well. The shawl gets adjusted with a slip knot.
This year we also added the Bara Barns line of ring shawls. The ring shawls are like traditional type of ringsling but the shoulder style is oh so comfy.

Developing an Infant Potty Practice   Half the world does it: find out why, when and how.  Better for baby; better for the environment. It may  sound far out, but before disposable diapers, parents  recognized their baby's cues for when they need to go.  Plus, you and your baby can move out of diapers before  they become a busy and independent toddler!   EC is practiced in many parts of the world and is  known also as Elimination Communication, Natural  Infant Hygiene, and Infant Potty Training. The process  involves observing one's baby's signs and signals,  providing cue sounds and elimination-place  associations, and can be done with or without the use  of diapers. EC builds on the premise that babies are  aware of their elimination needs from birth and  communicate about those needs through various vocal  and bodily signals. EC can be practiced full-time or  part-time, by stay-at-home or working parents.   2 hours $40 per person/couple

Come on and test the new Pikkolo carrier. We should have full stock by the first week of October. In the meantime come into the store and give it a test drive.
The Pikkolo has a cinching opening on the bottom that makes it easy to narrow the body of the carrier. This is particular useful if you decide to do facing out carries or if
a very small baby likes to have his/her leg out of the carrier. :)

Bittebror Silk Bibs also called Smekker

I am very excited about this bibs. They are so neat! The front layer is made out of gorgeous silk. In the middle liner is made out of fleece. Fleece has excellent properties to keep liquids from soaking through. The back of the bib has beautiful layer of babywale corduroy.

Those bibs are not only practical they also look gorgeous. We imported them from Norway where a stay at home makes them in her free time. We have a nice selection in stock at this moment. So grab some before they sell out.

Kissaluvs are here! This was the first brand of cloth diapers I became familiar with when I started cloth diapering.
My son was 4 month old and they looked just so cute. The fit was perfect for us and we used them up till the time he started to use the potty. This brand is highly recommend by me. Great fit, awesome colors, great absorbency and they look so adorable on babies. I am so excited to finally expand my offering to cloth diapers and this was one of the first brand I wanted to carry. I have quite a few in stock at the boutique so if you curious about this brand and other cloth diapers just come by the store and see if you like it.

Cat Bird Baby Mei Tai

We just recently added the Cat Bird Mei Tai to our line up. This carrier is just so cool. It comes with an optional belt that can be attached to two loops on the body. This is great because it helps to make the body more narrow so smaller baby can be put in with the legs out. This way if you really want to face out your baby you could do so.
The fabric choices are really urban and it folds up quick. The cotton is super soft. We have some cool prints in stock so come on by and get a Catbird baby mei tai.

There is still a lot of furniture left to be build but we are adding slowly our products to the tables. There will be a slated wall in the middle of the room that parts the workshop room in the back from the boutique in the front

This is the display bookshelf is facing also the store front main window.

This is the main front window at this moment. There will be more decorations and signs. And since the building is landmarked we will have to put our store logo in the window for now.

BBslen and Didymos rolled up. The whole table will be used for wraps only. Each rolled up wrap will have a tag with the size, brand and length. By request of customers we also will be adding gently used wraps.
